XIV. Galaxy morphology in the Hubble Deep Field (North) and its flanking fields to z=1.2. van den Bergh S., Cohen J.G., Hogg D.W., Blandford R. =2000AJ....120.2190V ================================================================================ ADC_Keywords: Galaxy catalogs ; Redshifts ; Magnitudes Keywords: galaxies: evolution - surveys Abstract: Morphological classifications are reported for Hubble Space Telescope images of 241 galaxies in the Hubble Deep Field and its flanking fields with measured redshifts in the interval 0.25) 19- 23 F5.2 mag Rmag R band magnitude from Hogg et al. (2000, Cat. ) 25- 29 F5.2 [W] LogLum Log of the rest frame B band luminosity (2) 31- 48 A18 --- Class Classification of the object 50-111 A62 --- Comm Comments 114 A1 --- f_[CHB2000] Individual notes on [CHB2000] (3) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note (1): Names are Hmmsss MMSS for objects in the HDF, where the object's J2000 coordinates are 12 mm ss.s +62 MM SS. The initial letter is ``F'' for objects in the flanking fields. [CHB2000] AMMSS.ss-MMSS.s in Simbad Note (2): From Cohen et al. (2001, Cat. ). M_B_ = -21.0 (rest frame) equivalent to log[L(B) (W)] = 36.9. Note (3): Flags: e: The Sb pec is the object for which a redshift exists. The redshift of the fainter second galaxy is unknown. f: The redshifts of this pair are not consistent with a merger, but the redshift of H36414 1142 is uncertain. g: This is a close pair of faint galaxies separated by about 1arcsec. It is not clear which of them (or perhaps both of them) was included in the spectroscopic observations. i: This object is a QSO from Keck spectroscopy. j: These two objects have rather discrepant well determined redshifts and are probably not physically associated. h: The redshifts of the two galaxies are both known and not consistent with a merger. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- History: From electronic version of the journal References: Cohen et al., Paper VII 1999ApJS..120..171C Cohen et al., Paper VIII 1999ApJ...512...30C Hogg et al., Paper IX 2000ApJS..127....1H, Cat.
